Posologie (Dose et Administration)
- Posologie Usuelle : La dose est strictement déterminée par le radiologue en fonction de l'examen pratiqué, du poids du patient et de sa fonction rénale.
- Adulte : Souvent 50 à 100 ml pour un scanner abdominal ou thoracique.
- Enfant : Généralement calculée sur la base de 1 à 2 ml/kg.
- Mode d'administration : Voie Intraveineuse (IV) ou Intra-artérielle.
- Indication : Exploration diagnostique par tomodensitométrie (Scanner), urographie, angiographie et phlébographie.
- Mise en garde :
- Hydratation : Il est impératif de bien boire avant et après l'examen pour protéger les reins.
- Allergie : Signaler impérativement tout antécédent d'allergie à l'iode ou d'asthme.
- Fonction rénale : Un dosage de la créatinine sanguine est souvent exigé avant l'injection.
